Was the poorly-written article about the national anthem not being sung featured by Yahoo as political satire?

This was the article written by Mike Klis of the Denver Post about the singing of the Star Spangled Banner being cancelled so that the rain-delayed Miami-Pgh Monday Night Football game would not be further delayed. I suspect this because:

1. The article is replete with grammatical errors.

2. It reads like the token conservative piece written by the kid from College Young Republicans for a campus paper (and it’s probably unfair to CYR to say that).

3. Vince Neill from Motley Crue was supposed to sing.

4. The Star Spangled Banner has only been played at sporting events since World War II and it was started then to help sell war bonds.

5. The Steelers have done much more patriotic acts, such as give Rocky Bleier his old position back when he returned from Vietnam despite a foot injury from a wound caused by a mortar shell that earned him a Purple Heart.

So is Yahoo giving this sad piece of writing international prominence as satire, or as competition for Fox News?

Will political satire be tolerated during Obamas term?

Every president has had to endure it. Since the invention of the newspaper there have been political cartoons poking fun at blunders, or just poking fun for fun sake.

But hey, this is the new america, just check my questions, nobody has a sense of humor anymore. Media is controlled and filtered. I wonder how shows like john stewart will do when you cant make fun of someone because thier black? Seems like ony rush limbaugh has any balls right now and its sad.

I know i`m wasting my time here, cant wait for some “top contributer” with no life to attack me.
Atropos, thank you.

A top contributer with a brain. I take back the no life comment just for you, everyone else is still suspect.
Frank r, i`m just a voice. One man with an opinion. It`s still legal right now, but who knows how long it will be. And you`ll be there at the end waving your “yes we can” flag right into the slaughter house wont you?

Dont bother answering of course you will.
Truth? Are you trying to bait me? How many scandals got buried before obama even got elected? Any one of those would have killed a cantidate, but the media took care of thier golden boy.

Look, not everyone is going to go away easy. This is why america is great.
Pinky, who said anything about the “n” word? And i cant recall to many white presidents being called “cracker” in satire. You sir are an idiot.

Why is hate speech ok, but political satire not ok?

In order to understand my meaning, I must refer you to my latest blog entry.

I have had numerous questions deleted, but I see others which are simply pure bone-headed ignorance and hate get passed off as legitimate questions by the censors.

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-riMyW3YwaK34MLyIWgoR2i3UmPvQOQ–?cq=1&p=76

The blog is an example of satire, which has the title “why is it that all white people are racist?”. Since it is written by a guy with a white avatar, I would assume people know it’s a joke.

So, maybe you think my humor isn’t funny. But I cited many examples of non-humor which are just plain hateful. What’s the deal? Is real hate ok, but making fun of hate somehow immoral?

Before you answer, I would like you to take a look at many of the “questions” that get posted on this forum. How many biased, unread, illiterate, vulgar, blatantly partisan, and racist tirades get passed off as legitimate?

Is anyone else frustrated by this?
